My most heartfelt condolences go out to the entire McGowan family. Our mother's were such good friends, I bet they're sitting around the table right now with our fathers talking about all of us just like they did in life. Your mother was always so good to me and my family, quick with kindness and good cheer. I'll always remember her with love in my heart and great affection. It's my prayer that your mother, like my own, will rest peacefully in God loving and eternal embrace. God bless you, Robert

Sometimes you were a real pain in the butt, Peg. But, all the time, I loved you as a mom and I know you loved me as a son. I miss you so much. Rest in peace, Peg. Now you're with Fred, Val and Jamie.

I miss you and love you so much gram we all do ... I wrote this poem for you...
"Gone but never forgotten"
There's no true way to say goodbye,
No true words for the final fairwell, so it's a I'll see you,
No true way to express the love in your heart,
No true words to say your final I love you, so it's I will love you always,
There's no amount of tears that can be shed for the pain and sorrow in your heart when, you lose a loved one,
Other than having a fountain with a never ending waterfall to represent the tears your eyes can't shed,
There's no real way to understand death,
Other than knowing that no one ever truly dies, as long as you carry them in your heart always,
There's no such thing as an unfinished path in life, just lifes ended short, and short lifes meant to live on through the living,
There's no amount of flowers, cards, and letters that can ever bring that person back,
There's just the never forgotten memories that bring them back to life for brief moments,
There's no true way of paying last respects,
Other than flowers on a grave, lit candles, and silent prayers,

As I sit here, I write my prayer,

God, please take all the pain away from our grandmother, may she always know she is loved and missed, and may she be at peace and have bliss with our other lost ones, who are also truly missed...

So Grandma, your body may not be amoung us anymore, but you will forever live on through our memories and in our hearts....

-love,stacey

My Mommie Dearest,

I know I was the only one to call you this and you thought it was cute I will always think of you this way, it is a good thing.

I may not have gone to your funeral but I still love you with all my heart and soul now and forever. I said good byes to you in the hospital as I know you where not there you had already left us. You where on your way the bigger and better things as you had already done your work here. Your job was done and now it is up to us to move forward as you would have wanted us to. You where always there for me. You where the best mom and grandma ever. Jamie and Donie both loved you so very much. I know in my heart that you are still with me as dad and Jamie are.

Love Your Daughter

To my Mom,

God must have had plans for you if he took you in such a tragic way. You had so much to live for and your life was ended. Our lives will not be the same without you. I am able to get through because I know you are now at peace and are free of the burdens which were placed upon you while you were alive. I am happy for you because you will no longer have to worry about other people's hardships. The final chapter of your life is now complete. You are free! May you fly with the angels. I hope you have reunited with Dad, Val and Jamie! Give them all a hug and kiss from me!
I know you will give me a sign when you have made it through! I love you with all of my heart! You were my first friend! We had alot of great times together and I am going to hold every one of them near to my heart!

Love your baby,

Julie
