We are sorry for your loss. He lived a good life and will be greatly missed.

I am sorry, we never played Torrey Pines together. I will think of him tomorrow while at Torrey Pines.

Dear Mrs. Elaine Pastore, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was honored that Chaela shared the obituary with me, despite my thirty-year absence from Providence. I remember Mr. Pastore as a benevolent pater familias. You and he both put me at ease on several occasions when I visited your home as a friend of Chaela's. You even allowed me to store some things in your attic for a short time after graduation, for which I was very grateful. I understand you cared for Mr. Pastore during a long illness; that is the work of a saint, and I'm sure it meant everything to him. I offer my condolences, and send my wish that the sunshine and colors of spring are a comfort to you and all of your family. Sincerely,

Elaine, I will always have such fond memories of your home, May Lous's memory be for a blessing for you and the whole family. I loved being able to talk the very special brand of RI politics with him and then get to brag to MY dad that I got to talk to Lou. Tom , Michael , ans Lou-Ann know that I am thinking of each of you and your families. Lou's warmth will shine through in the faces of thos grandchildren.
