Matante Cecile. I have no idea how to put into words everything you have done for me. You have meant more to me than you will ever know. You were with my parents, the day I was born, and since that day, I know I had a special place in your heart. Throughout the years, you were present for mine and all my siblings birthdays and holidays. You were my Confirmation sponsor and also sang at my wedding. Those are moments I will always cherish. Thank you for the talks and the laughs we shared. During the summer, you liked going to restaurants, by the water, and would have your orange martini and scallops. I was there for you when you had you surgeries and helped you when you were able to go home. As the years went by, your health was declining and you could no longer live alone. Together we went through the transition of you needing more assistant than what I could provide. As heartbreaking as it was to see you decline, I knew that one day you would be reunited with your parents and your beloved dog, Mindy. That day has come and I am heartbroken. I am sure you were greeted with open arms into Heaven. I will love you always! Celine

I was so sorry to hear of Cecile's passing. We worked together for many years at Drs. Durkin & Gendreau. She was a wonderful person and a great boss. I have tried several times to contact her over the years but could not find her. May she rest in peace.

Deastest Celine & Jon, Although you & I have never met, I was Cecile's high school friend at St. Jean The Baptist Academy in Pawtucket. She was a wonderful friend to me and later to my husband. We visited frequently at Cecile's family home after our son was born. So very sorry for the loss of your Matante. I will remember her lovely smile & cherish the memories. Terry (Forget) Guertin.
