The decades have passed and so has a special person, Mrs. Basiliere. In our sadness we take comfort in the countless memories of her that stay, both in our minds and hearts. Mrs. Basiliere's love for life kept her going, sharing, and spreading her kindness to others. It's nice to know that she will continue to bring smiles into this world as her memories are shared throughout the years to come. She will not be forgotten. John 5:28,29, Psalms 37:29

Lee Ann and Luke,
I am so deeply sorry to hear about Bev. She was fondly known as “Aunt Bev†by my family as she truly has been like family to my grandmother and the rest of us. Bev was my Mema’s best friend and a like a sister. I remember many visits with her and her infectious laugh and smile. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and accepted as they are. She used to call me the “all American girl†many years ago. I laughed at the time because it was a song by Melissa Etheridge back then and I wondered if that’s how she decided on my title.
I just loved the way she viewed the world and saw the best in everyone. I will forever be grateful for the impact that she had on my grandmother’s life and therefore on my own. The world was certainly a better place with her in it and her presence and laugh will be missed.
Please know my sincere wish for comfort and peace in the days ahead. Sending lots of love.

Dear Lee and Lucas, I know how much she will be missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing your Mom/Grandma. I felt especially touched when I learned that she went to high school with my Mom, and she showed me her yearbook too! We had great laughs, and I hope someday to hear that laugh again in our next life. She is irreplaceable and a real Treasure. Bless her Soul. Peace and Hugs to you all...Stevie K.
