Michelle, words can't adequately express how saddened we are from your passing. You left such a lasting impression on Koran who had you in Kindergarten and is now 19. When he found out you were sick he was very sad and asked about you often. You also left an impression on our grandaughter Naima. The last time I saw you you were teaching at Fogarty but we kept in touch via FB. You were one of the best teachers and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. You will continue to be in our thoughts. We will continue to keep Charlie, Matt and your family in our prayers. You will truly be missed.

Matthew,
I didn't know your wife nor do I know you but I was reading about her on Lifespan. I was so very sad at the end of the story to read of her passing.

I can relate to your grief. My late wife was also an elementary school teacher and died of cancer complications in school. My son was almost 18 when she died 20 years ago Christmas. I wish you strength as you go deal with your grief and raising your son.
