Allan McCrorie was my uncle. I loved to hear my dad, Chick McCrorie, share stories of growing up with his brothers. He told of his brother Allan as being by my Dad's side while they helped their Dad run the trash pick up routes. Apparently they were so good at it that Dad & Allan created their own route, to make a little money of their own, without their Dad being any the wiser. Very smart go-getters, who knew how to take care of themselves :) I always enjoyed visiting with Uncle Allan when the opportunity would occur. He was a smart man who always had an interesting story to share. He will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and my cousins, during this difficult time.
My love to you all, Cheryl

I am so sad I can't be there to help celebrate Uncle Allan's life. He was a great uncle! My mom and dad said he had a rough time of it at the end, and so I am glad he is at peace now. I send my love and prayers for our family and friends! Maryann ( Chick and Nancy's 3rd daughter)

Uncle Allan was a really fun person to be with. I remember the days when he had season tickets to the PC Friars. We were both huge fans at the time, and we could go round and round about the players and the game. Good times! It has been a while since we were close, but he never shows up in memory without a big grin on his face. Love to you, Sandy and to Aunt Nancy and my cousins.
