Dad, this is still so unreal to me! I keep shaking my head real fast thinking it's all just a really bad thought that I need to get out of my head. I never in a million years thought you'd be gone so soon and I feel like I took that for granted. Today is Serenity's birthday and I'm used to sending you her pictures of the day and getting cards for them from you in the mail and now all of that has changed. I'm going to miss you so much but I am most definitely looking forward to the day I will see you again! I love you dad💞

Bro. Roy, it's difficult to imagine how quickly you have left us. On Saturday, February 20, I called and prayed with you and even encouraged you to not give up but little did I know that this was our last conversation. Truly this wasn't the outcome we've expected; however, the Lord has a better plan. Absent from the body is present with the Lord. Go in peace until we meet again and please greet Mth. Ella for me. You will truly be missed but not forgotten.
