X. My friend, my brother. You were loud, obnoxiously charming, charismatic, and above all, once someone became your friend, a loyal friend for life. I'll miss playing guitar for you, watching you talk about how your dad loves baseball, singing songs (terribly) about good times and friendship, sharing a beer, a smoke, a laugh, and many unforgettable memories. Your words of wisdom, recently when you teared up when I told you that you inspired me to be a better person. I'm glad i had the opportunity to thank you but to know you and be your friend. Breaks my heart I'll never be able to do it again but warms me that I got the chance to have those memories. I love you buddy. I'll be having a beer in your name always.

My dear friend. Words can’t express how much happiness you have endured on an uncountable amount of people. You were full of joy, of life, and of selflessness. You will always remain an amazing man, son, father, friend, and soul mate to us all. We miss you already but know we will live life in your name and be joyous, as you’ve always asked us to do. Until next time my dear friend. We love you!

We were fortunate to have Xavier and his brother Yash play on our soccer team for a period of time. Xavier was always quick to laugh with an infectious spirit that will no doubt be missed by his family and friends. Prayers for Xavier and his family as they deal with a loss felt far too soon.

The first image that comes to mind as I sit with the reality that Xavier has moved on from this world is his smile. It is so radiant. When Xavier looks at you and smiles - you feel his honest kindness and happiness. His smile is contagious. In fact, I’ve never seen a fake smile from him- what an honest man, nothing fake about him.

He made his friends feel valued and loved. He showed this by being a great listener and overall a really fun guy. A bold and fun man.

He has this masculine energy that is inviting and warm. I always felt very taken care of around him. He really protected his friends and family.

I’m so grateful to have spent such carefree and happy years with him. I’m still struggling making sense of this but find peace in knowing he made such an impact in this world. Xavier is so loved

Xavier, I didn't know you. I'm just a friend of a friend. There's a biblical proverb that says, "A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth. Better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of feasting, for that is the end of every man, and the living should take it to heart." Maybe that statement is hard to understand in this moment. But what it means is that all we can do in life is to live in a way that brings joy to those around us. We arrive in this world with nothing, and it is what we leave behind that tells the story of who we were. A memorial is sad and tragic for all. Even as we all experience death, we still are left speechless, and find difficulty in describing that grief. Yet reading the comments here, you brought a lot of joy to your loved ones, proving that what you left for the world was so much greater than what you brought into it. You clearly will be missed, and I wish I'd have had the chance to know you. And to the family, you have my deepest sympathies at this difficult time.

To know Xavier is to love him, such a big personality. The embodiment of what it means to be a friend. You were always there to lend an ear, offer support, or share a laugh. I will miss you brother until we meet again.

The pain of losing Xavier so soon is just unbearable. He left us so filled with pain and grief. That is until I think of what he himself would want for us. I believe he would be thankful and humbled by all of the love being shown to him, Amanda and his family for simply having known him. And I know he would want us to be happy and to live our lives to the fullest the same way he lived his. So today we grieve for our loss but then we must remember his smile and love for life. And we must go on smiling again, thinking of him often, raising a glass and doing kind deeds in his honor. all the while remembering the profound influence that he had on our lives. For the love of Xavier, we must try to be better, kinder and more generous going forward. I know I will!

My Baby,

I have no words, but I am going to try and find them for you. I know with you less is more and I have already written about you and spoken to you.

It still does not feel real, but sadly I know it is as my heart is hurting.

Our first date was in November 2011 and you have had my heart ever since and always will. I told you then that you were my "Plan A”, and we were making it happen, building our future together. We got our “dope” place together, got engaged, were making plans for our wedding, growing our family and our “forever” home in warm weather all year round. I am not sure how I do this without you.

I would give anything to see you looking back at me with that big, beautiful smile, one more hug, one more kiss and even one more snore.

You will always be with me and I with you, as we are intertwined forever.

Until next time, my love. I love you with all my heart always and forever!!!! XOXO

I'm so sorry for your loss, as Xavier was such a spark in this world. I hope you can find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with him. It's hard to find words to describe someone so full of life and love, but Xavier was truly the most fun and had the biggest heart. To know him was to love him. He will be missed forever by anyone who knew him, or even came into contact with him just once or twice. His joyful smile and laugh always lit up a room, and I'll always cherish our memories together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Sending love from Virginia

I took for granted that you would always be here with an easy smile, words of encouragement, and lots of hugs and guidance for us and for your nephews. You never missed a chance to tell Elias and Bennett how much you loved them and couldn't wait to see them grow up into young men. I know you will be able to see them from above and hopefully they will make you proud and put a smile on your face. We will miss your carefree nature and your way of turning the most boring night into a night to remember. We will miss your support and your acceptance of everyone, despite their flaws, constantly providing unconditional love to all that were lucky enough to deserve it. You were intelligent, witty,  ambitious, and generous. You always motivated and encouraged people to do more, give more, be more. In retrospect, it was almost as if you truly comprehended how precious every day was and were determined to take advantage of every moment. I wish you were here to fix all our IT problems, to tell us proudly how smart and mature Ryiah is becoming, and to dance one last bachata with me. (Yash doesn't hold a flame.) Know that your presence and your memory will never stop. We will take all the positivity you radiated and share it with everyone around us.  I will miss you my brother, not in-law, but a true brother in my heart. I was only blessed enough to know you for 15 years. My deepest condolences to your parents and family that raised you into the man that you were, to your daughter Ryiah who was the center of your universe, and to Amanda,  your fiance, who was your future. May God and time lay the framework for your healing.
