Ma — you were an amazing person to know. I remember when your vision began to decline and I was afraid you wouldn’t recognize me BUT you always knew who I was immediately and would hold my hand the entire time I was in your presence and you always lit up when I called you while I was in the service; I could hear it in your voice. I would always ask, “Ma - do you know who this is?” and you’d reply, “of course I do - it’s Vera!” Your concern over my life and my well-being was so pure and heartfelt . I wish I had more time to know you .. I wish your family had more time to embrace you . You may be gone in the flesh, but you are surely not forgotten. I love you deeply & will miss your sweet soul!

I pray that your family feels comforted in knowing that you are no longer in pain. I pray that God covers your family with strength, acceptance, endurance and a peace of mind. Until I see you again, Ma 🤍
