I am sad to hear the news of Uncle Gerry's passing. I will never forget how he always made time for me, and our chats. He would taught me so much. Listening to every word. His genuine smile was wonderful.
Made one feel like "I'm so glad to see you and everything's going to be alright."
His conservations often included stories from years past that were so interesting, and very detailed. He actually remembered the names of products used in his construction days!

The island of St Martin and Orient Beach will never be the same without Gerry. His smiles crazy jokes, positive perspective warm friendship and laughter and appetite for food sun and water will all be remembered by all who met him. His friendships spanned the globe. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Plamondon in the 70's while working in the neighborhood pharmacies in Central Falls. He was one of those customers you will never forget. Even after moving to St Martin, he would always come by the store to say hello and have great stories and wonderful pictures of life on Orient Beach. What a wonderful life he had. RIP Gerry
