My condolences to Val’s family and friends. I had the pleasure of his association via Pop Warner football in 1993. It was a joy to coach him. He was great leader to the other players. He was loved by all. He played quarterback. I watched him in high school and college. I love the success he had as adult. He leaves a hole that can’t be filled in our hearts. Sending strength and support to his family and friends. Peace

Val truly never met a stranger, and made an impact on those he met, even briefly. Our first time meeting him was our baby shower where he accompanied Liz. He instantly charmed our whole family with his easy warmth, humor and clear love and support for his wife and family. We remember telling Liz, he was a clear example of what a good husband and father represents. Every other meeting after that was no different, he remained gentle, kind and always smiling. His positivity was contagious. Liz, we are sending you our love, strength and wrapping our arms around you, from afar. We know words cannot convey or describe this immeasurable loss and we are thinking of you daily as well as your two beautiful boys. We hope the irreplaceable memories of Val will, with time, give you peace and comfort. We love you all.

“A contagious smile†is an understatement. From the very first day I met him, this is one thing that I noticed about him immediately. Always upbeat, always positive; He is such an amazing role model for the young men at Rivers. He had such a positive impact on their team, he will be greatly missed by all!
God bless you and your family, may he watch over you and give you strength each and every day.
