First and foremost, my heartfelt condolences to you, Brett and the rest of your family.

I was lucky enough to be coached by Bobby growing up in Fairlawn Little League. Coach Bobby was a great coach and a great person. Not only was he such a positive coach, but he treated his players with care and respect. I was one of the few girls playing in a baseball league of mainly boys, but he never treated me any differently than any of my male teammates. In fact, he believed in me a great deal. I still can remember coach Bobby being the first one out of the dugout to hug me and lift me in the air after I pitched a no-hitter for him when I was 9. The confidence he allowed me to grow into as a member of his team is something I always valued. No matter how much time passed as I grew older, anytime I was lucky enough to see coach around, he always greeted me with his big smile and a warm hug. I’ve played for a lot of the coaches in different sports over the years, but Coach Bobby was always one of my favorites because he never counted me out and always believed in me. For that, I am always thankful.

Coach, you will be missed. Rest peacefully

So very sad to hear of Bobby’s passing. He coached my children. He was the type of coach that any child could look at and think , “I want to be just like this guy when I grow up.” A happy, kind joyful person who’s company was always a gift. May your memories bring you comfort.

My deepest condolences to you Brett and to all the family. Bobby and I go back to playing wiffle ball in Central Falls when we were young and going to the Cowden St community center where we played basketball, outs, pool, etc. He was always a happy go lucky guy and will surely be missed. May you all find peace in Our Lord during these trying times. God Bless 🙏

Brenda, JR, and family,

So sorry for your loss, Bobby could put a smile on anyone's face. I went to school with Brenda, (she always made me laugh as well) and later worked with JR and Bobby. May there be comfort in knowing that so many people share great memories of him.

I had the privilege to know Bobby in high school and delivered papers to his house. I recall his dad always in the stands at our basketball games as Bobby became the bubble gum bubble blowing high school point guard of his time. I got to call the ProJo/Pawt Times with the CF line scores after every game and he was who they inquired about. Bobby was always down to earth and approachable. Blessed to have known him.
