...And if I should go before you
Know that part of me still remains...
You will not see me,
Yet I will be there walking beside you.
You will not touch me,
Yet I will live in your heart and memory always.
Have faith that we will one day walk
Hand in hand in eternity.
Until then, live your life for life is good...
And know that I am with you.
I hope you and Dylan are enjoying your chocolate sprinkled donuts on the porch in the sun.
I am so proud of you Dad. You may have lost the battle with cancer but you won the game of life.
Hugs and kisses to you and Dylan. You deserve to rest now.
Until we are together again, in my heart you will remain.
Your daughter,
Susan Mary

Cecile and family,
Our sincere sympathy goes out to all of you.
Don was a great guy and I know he was loved by you, family and friends with no boundaries.
I'm sorry we cannot come to the viewing or funeral. David has had surgery and some set backs but on the road to wellness. I have appointments scheduled that cannot be changed.
With all our love, our hearts are saddened for you, but I'm sure the love and strength of your family will help you through this.
Love and prayers, Your cousin Pauline and husband, David

To the Lapham Family
Thank you Rachel for the telephone call on Friday informing me of you dad's passing.
Over the past twenty years it has been a distinct priviledge and honor to have developed both a professional and strong personal relationship with such a wonderful gentleman. Don with his quick wit, his insightfulness, his endless stories and to the end his couragousness, should be and inspiration to everyone that knew him.
The world was a little better with him and now a little worse off without him.
My most sincere condolence to the entire Lapham family....
May God Bless you my friend

To the Lapham family, On behalf of the many, many friends Don made here at Plainridge, our sincere condolences on Don's passing. I have met many people here over the last 14 years, but none as sincere as Don. On a regular basis Don would always stop by my office door to wave hello or stop for a chat (always about his family and what the kids or grandkids were doing at that time.) Our conversations i enjoyed the most were about politics and he was so well informed. I will miss those chats as he sat on my sofa and we both laughed about getting old, having our horse finish second, or about some silly item in the news. The picture of Don listed here is perfect. That wry smile always brightened our day. I will miss you, old friend......
