I will never forget Peggy. She was a dear Garden Club friend and we spent many an hour talking on the phone. This is the second Garden Club member lost within a week's time.
Peggy was a kind, loving lady who will be sorely missed.

We were so fortunate to meet Peggy last year when Pete and Peggy hosted our family at their home in Swansea for a wonderful afternoon of sailing. Peggy's graciousness with us - and especially our son, Alex, who is close friends with her grandson, Nat - ensured a wonderful afternoon for all, and we are grateful for this memory. Pete, Ann, Kevin, Nat, and Sarah - Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Best, Jenny and Jon

Pete, Peggy became my adopted grandmother when I was 5 years old. Both of you have always been present to offer guidance through many important decisions I have made during my young life. I have benefited from this greatly. The Volvo I drive (Peggy's old car) still displays the signal flags that bear her initials. I will always remember Peggy, especially her happy and cheerful spirit. I remember her in Chatham after an evening of fishing sitting and enjoying a delicious meal of fresh seafood and good company.
