Such a light in a room and such a sweet spirit. Shaynah and I became best friends you called your grandson. I considered you a second grandmother. Never a call where I wouldn’t ask Shaynah about you. I’m so blessed that I had a chance to know you and experience all the things your family loved about you. It fills my heart to know your girls were by your side through the hard times and final moments. So many will watch over and take care of them but not like you do. You live a great life queen, may you now rest. So many tears and broken hearts but there’s faith and hope the laughter will come before the tears one day. Sending you all so much love!

To the family of Sister Ruby,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I attended Providence Assembly of God with Sister Ruby who was faithful member. Eighteen years ago I left Providence. Whenever I would visit she would be sitting on the last row on the left of the sanctuary with Sister Willis.
I know they are rejoicing in Glory together. May the Lord comfort you with those precious memories and the blessed hope of eternal life we have in knowing Jesus.
Love,

Meredith McGoings - (Waldorf, Maryland)

My deepest condolences to Ruby's girls, and all the family. While I am sadden to learn of your passing, I am so honored to have known you, and to be welcomed into your home some many times. Yes Ms Ruby, you were all those many years ago... and continued to be a positive force in the lives of those who had the pleasure of of being in your company. And what a legacy you leave.. One just has just to look at the three amazing, intelligent, strong, independent women you raised.. more evidence of how special, loving, and no nonsense you were. You are already missed! Peace, Love and may a shower of hidden blessings be revealed ... as the family grows through this struggle. Love always.. Mike..
