This last year has been one of my best years because my "brother from another mother" and I bonded like never before. I will miss his 5:30am call to go fishing and his support and encouragement when we talk. I miss him so much already.

Very sorry to read of the passing of your dear loved one Robert. Life is such a precious gift yet so short-lived for the time we exist. I am writing to share a few words of comfort and encouragement from the source of truth the bible.
God holds out a wonderful hope for all those in the grave. At John 11:25 Jesus said"I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCIES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES, WILL COME TO LIFE."
The nine accounts of ones in the bible who were resurrected are a guarantee that the resurrection of others is possible. God can bring back the billions of dead he holds within his perfect memory. (John 5-28,29) What a blessed reason to hope in God!
With the gift of your memories of Robert they will bring you great joy. When a loved one becomes a memory that memory turns into a treasure.

Bob was a co-worker at Brown and someone I saw frequently on campus. Mostly, those were times when he was traveling from one spot to another to install or repair some complicated piece of equipment. He was everywhere at Brown! But our conversations were rarely about technical matters or even work in general. He wanted to ask about my family or me and, of course, talk about his daughter Ashley…the really important things in life. I am sad to think that Brown has lost such a hardworking, kind, and gentle man. I will treasure my time working with him and knowing him. God’s blessing be on his family at this difficult time.
