Dear Nancy and family. I met Denise when I was a 19 year old freshman at URI in 1971. I loved her sense of humor and I really enjoyed making her laugh. She left a lasting impression on me for sure. A sweet person that I will never forget.

Dear Nancy and Family
I am very saddened to hear of Denise's passing. We were classmates for many years at CFHS and again our paths crossed while attending URI. I had seen Denise for over 45 years until our 50th high school reunion in 2018. We spoke at length and she had not changed. She was the same kind, humble and quiet person of strength I had met so many years ago. I am honored to have known her.
I pray God will ease the pain of your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Denise. We met in Weldin Hall at URI many years ago and stayed friends even after I moved away. I will miss her at our (mostly) annual get-togethers of the URI friends in RI. Denise was such a joy to be around--smart, funny, and kind. And she always looked amazing; somehow Denise never aged.

From the Nuri family to the Garvey family our deepest condolences. I was lucky enough to teach with Denise at Calcutt. Not only was she a terrific teacher but a better colleague. Her sense of humor was unrivaled. I am terribly disappointed that I was not able to attend her funeral. Wonderful Denise Rest In Peace.

I remember Mrs. Garvey when I was a student at Calcutt Middle School. She was so smart and had a nice sense of humor. It's sad to know that her life was cut short because of Alzheimer's. I hope one day there is a cure. We know she is not suffering anymore.
Take care
