Linda Holt (not Tente) and I exchanged Facebook chat messages for the past several years. While I hadn't seen her since our high school days when she was Linda Davis, when I read her messages I could hear in my mind the sound of her voice from those years. She was a kind and hardworking person who faced difficult challenges in recent years but always seemed optimistic. She will be missed. Death is an unspeakable tragedy.

Linda was a good friend from Ontario high school. After she graduated and married we lost touch. But thanks to Facebook we reconnect and messaged each other often. When she called last week I had a feeling she was saying goodbye, yet she remained optimistic as always. I will always remember Linda fondly. My condolences to her family and friends.
