Dear family of Bill, I have the fondest memories of Bill from my early days working with him while he was assessor in Cheektowaga. He taught me so much, but what I've remembered most clearly all these years, work with integrity and fairness. Bill has always been one of my favorite people and I wish his wife and family comfort immersed in a lifetime of loving and joyous memories. Peace and love to you always.

Uncle Bill was one of the people growing up that I admired and helped shaped me to be who I am today.
After working 2 jobs day and night he always found time for his Family.
Some things I will always remember:
Playing in the backyard at Lancer Court taking batting practice with two old school strapped lawn chairs as a backstop. Home runs were over the 7 Eleven store with rubberized balls – Grand Slams landed onto George Urban Avenue.
Playing foot hockey in the living room with Marsha, his wife, my Aunt, – Yelling Don’t Break my Hummel Figurines.
Taking the Dancers from Julie’s class with me as an 8-10 year old riding on his lap in His Chrysler Imperial letting me “Drive them home” I steered while he used the Gas and Brake. Friendly’s Ice Cream or Dutch Mill after.
Telling me if I do not behave for Marsha and Julie when he headed to his second Job - that Casper the Ghost in the basement will come get me – That kept me in line and I behaved.
Listening to Music on Sundays and chatting about Life was always special to me. No TV Cell Phones etc. Just us. From Englebert Humperdink to Lionel Ritchie I learned to embrace all types of music.
He always put his Family first no matter what – Here are a few of a million times:
When it snowed bad the night before, he would dust off / shovel a path for Julie and Marsha Cars before school or work.
When the back vacant lot became available at the complex the Conway’s lived in, he bought it so we could have FAMILY outings and for us to play back there. Those 4th of July parties were awesome.
Rest In Peace Uncle Bill – I will forever miss you. However, your Spirit, is always alive with me as an you provided me an example for the way I am towards my own Family.
Love You Always

Marsha, Julieanne, Brian, Conner, and Keegan,
We are all so very sorry for the loss of Papa Bill. His warm smile and heart of gold made anyone in his presence feel happy and peaceful. His love of and unwavering dedication to his family was a truly beautiful thing to behold. We know a large group of 18 and 19 year old boys who are heartbroken at his loss and that is truly telling of what a loss his passing is. We send all our love, prayers and thoughts of strength during this most difficult time.
