Ruby x3, this was a beautiful dedication to your dad and truly encompasses all the best parts about him. It is hard to know what to say, when there isn’t a lot that can be said that will make this loss hurt any less. Uncle Dave and his Dunkin coffee was always a staple, accompanied by lots of laughs. His kindness was bestowed upon me throughout the years - my most salient memory is how he would drive me to and from school, driving right by his house to get me home safely. He didn’t have to, but he did. That was Uncle Dave. I am praying for you all during this time and know that he will live on in your hearts forever.

I didn't know Dave (Ruby) but it's obvious that he was a great man. What a wonderful way to show everyone. You've all been blessed to have someone that great in your family. May he rest in peace and fly with the angels. Thanks for the laughs.

Debbie and the Rubies, Dave's obit has to be the funniest and and most genuinely loving obit I have read in a very long time. With all due respect , I had to suppress a few giggles. Sounds like the Rubies should write a book about all the shenanigans and selfless deeds that shaped their lives and sense of humor. I predict the book will become a movie and a Broadway play. Imagine that!! In the meantime, I know that your memories will comfort you as you share and comfort each other. Dave must be so proud of all of you! May he rest in peace, knowing all his gems could never forget him. I am truly sorry for your loss.
