Derek to say you'll be missed is a huge understatement. To me you were never anything but a good guy who was there for me whenever you were in my life . I'm so sorry you were taken so soon. You had so much to look forward to and so many adventures with Tara and your family. We will all miss you and your laugh. Thank you for being so good to Tara and loving her the way you did. Thank you for being there for me and checking on me when my mom passed. In my book you were always a good one.

I wish I could see your face, tell you I love you, and hug you one last time. There is nothing like the love of a brother and sister! I love you and I am thankful for the love Tara showed you! I am thankful that you were able to find peace over the last couple of years.... I miss you today but I rejoice in knowing that one day I will be walking in eternity with you.
