I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the entire Gomes family on the passing of David. I visited him a few times in Florida and he was always a joy to be in the company of. David was a real GOOD person with a heart of gold. May he rest in eternal peace.

I was sadden to hear of the passing of David. He was a class act, a true gentleman, and a friend. After years together on the PPD, our retirements sent us down different paths. Then, 15 yrs later, we had a chance meeting and it was as if we had just finished another shift. He smiled that smile and called me Brother: leading to several hours of story telling and laughter.

My thoughts and prayers go out to David’s family.
