We always loved sharing family events with Bernie. She always saw and drew out the best in her grandchildren. She was easy and fun to spend time with, always pleasant and insightful.

I am so saddened to hear of Bernie’s passing. She was a lovely woman and it’s impossible to think of Paul without adding “and Bernie” to the sentence. Five children and eighteen grandchildren are an amazing legacy and I know she will be dearly missed by them all. Paul and the family have my deepest condolences.

To the Mcllmail family my sincere and heartfelt condolences. I graduated with Bernie from CFHS in 1959, not 1960. I can remember Bernie and I being voted most popular by our classmates. I was truly saddened on learning of her passing.

Tim, Dawn, Danny, Lynn & Lee - I am so sorry for your loss. Bernie was so kind, caring and loving. Her greatest gift was raising the five of you.

Paul - 59 years of marriage is an incredible accomplishment. I teared up reading "and married Paul, the love of her life"
What an example you both set for your kids and grandchildren. Sending you a great, big hug.

I have many fond memories spending time with all of you, especially at your house in Cumberland.

Thinking of you all and sending you much love. Bernie was an amazing woman.

To my aunt, my good friend, my cheerleader, and partner in crime, oh how I miss you already. The world will not be the same for me knowing I won't hear you break out in song at a familiar phrase, or laugh that devilishly mischievous giggle that was so contagious. I've loved you for my whole life, and that will never change. I'll keep you and all my wonderful memories of you close to my heart always.

To Mrs. M family I was the only boy in her homeroom class and she always blamed the girl that talked to me when we were told not to talk. I grew up knowing her family and when school ended she gave me a hug i will remember forever
