To the Family:
I watched Billy grow up and become a man to be respected and admired; from the boy who always had a smile to a man who always offered a hand. I loved Billy! Driving by Cranston and Dexter will never be the same for me. Billy talked politics and community on that corner and Praise God-He accepted Jesus on that corner! It helps me (and I hope you also) to know I will see him again one day. Ecc 7:1 says: A good name is better than fine perfume.
Thank you Lord for allowing my path to cross with Billy Jones!

To our Family, may God strengthen each of us during our time of sorrow in the loss of our brother, Billy. He was one kind, compassionate, caring individual. He definitely loved his family and will be sorely missed.
When our hearts are saddened by the loss of one we love,
The courage that we truly need comes only from above,
But may each of us find some comfort at this time we are going through
Just knowing many thoughts and prayers are always there with us.
Sorry I can't be with you in body, but my prayers are certainly there.
Love you all

Last Sunday was the day he took his final breath
Sadly he must be laid to rest
Not ready to let go so we sit in distress
Wondering why him
But he the All Mighty One knows
As he only chooses the best
So on Billy he calls
For his team is for the elite
And as we all know
Billy is one of the best!
So celebrate his life
Hold on to your memories
Keep him in your heart and souls
As up in the sky he is smiling down on us all

To The Jones Family, What move through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why Billy left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that Billy passed away, but that he lived a good life. And that Billy's life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. May he rest in peace.

To the family and loved one of Billy Jones,

My deepest condolences on the passing of this General and Pillar of our Community. Billy was a great example of the love of Christ and touched my life in many ways. He loved everyone and always had a positive way about him. He was always concerned about you when he saw you but not just that, concerned with your life as well. He was the first I met when I returned home from N.C. in 1985 and we established a friendship freshman year of high school immediately. He meant so much to alot of us in the community and I personally will forever cherish the memory of Billy Jones. I pray for the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and I know my brother is in heaven shining bright because he was a light for many here in the flesh. I pray that we all remember him and teach our youth about this man and the loved he shared with all of us as it is vitaly important to keep his memory alive. Once again to the family, friends, and loved ones my deepest condolences and may the Lord have a blessing on you all.

Billy...I can't believe your really gone. It's been one month and it seems like a horrible nightmare. I will never forget the feeling I had when I got the horrible news. The ride I took to the hospital to view your body was the worst ride of my life. I never wanted to see you like that. You were always more of a father to me than my biological one. There was never a time when you never looked out for me. You bought me my first bike to my first car. You were always there. You are someone that will always be so special to me and you will always be in my heart. Providence lost one of it's greatest men!! I lost my father and my mom lost the absolute love of her life. I can't even ride past the corner or Cranston and Dexter St. because it hurts me to not be able to see you standing there infront of your building. :'(
I miss you.
I love you.

It breaks my heart that whatever pain you felt, was so unbearable that you felt you had to leave, but I hope you found and are at peace.
