Auntie Risa was always there for me whenever I needed her. She always was the voice of reason for most of us. She always took care of everyone and she will be missed by everyone. I wish I could have been there for her last days but I know in my heart she is in a better place with no suffering. Uncle John, you helped raise some wonderful kids and because of the support and love you gave Auntie Risa, She had a wonderful and full life. I thank you for giving her that life. I thank you for helping me grow into the man I am today with the values I have today. Often the living are forgotten in times like these, but we need to continue to live and never forget the wonderful memories we all had with our passed loved ones. Mindy, Kerry, Meghan, and Kyle, always remember the love your mother gave you and use that to motivate you through these hard times. I know it's easy to be saddened by the loss but be grateful for all the memories and allow Auntie Risa to live on through all of you. I know she was proud of everyone of you and loved you all very much. Have comfort in that and know you were there for her in her final days. Auntie Risa, you share a place in my heart and I will always remember our times together. Thank you for those talks we used to have and even though I didn't live there often or long, you always made the effort to make me feel welcome and never forgot my birthday. That meant a lot to me. I love you and I will miss you very much. You are with Grandma now. Look down on all of us from time to time. With every ray of sunlight will be your smile and every raindrop will be your tear of joy. Thank you for blessing me with the best Auntie a nephew can have. I love you.

Auntie Risa I am going to talk to you as you are still here because you are. You are apart of each and everyone of us. Auntie Risa you are a very special woman and always took care of all things and everybody. You never took any time for yourself and always thought of others before you. You were such a strong and courageous woman and for that I admire you. I love how you always made people laugh at your sarcastic remarks and your crazy facial expressions. Those things I will hold on to forever just as you would want me to. Thank you for being who you are. You were always real and true to everyone. You were a blessing in my life. But now I know and I am at peace to know that you gave your heart to God and in that I know that you are with Grandma dancing on the Streets of Gold. I am really going to miss you physically but spiturally you will always be in my heart. The time we spent together before you went to Heaven I will cherish forever. You are a remarkable woman in this life and in the next. I love you very much. To Uncle John, I just want to say to you that you are a strong and special man. I love you very much. Remember that Auntie Risa is just a conversation away and she will hear you. Mindy, Keri, Megan and Kyle you all are warriors. You stood by your mom through these hard times and for that she is very proud of you. All four of you are wonderful kids and this pain will pass. Remember all the good not the bad, laugh and not cry because she is no longer suffering she is now healed. You all are in my heart and wish I could be there to give each one of you a big hug. With all my love to you and Auntie Risa you will be missed and I love You dearly. God Bless You All.

I can not find the words to say how sorry I am for the loss of such a beautiful person. Celia loved being with you and learned so much from you. I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. You and your family treated her like your own. Kerry you made Celia an excellent artist. You are all in my prayers during this difficult time.

To All of You John, John, Mindy,Kerri, Megan and Kyle,
Your wife and Mom was one of the best friendships I have ever had in my life. Risa was always there for me to lend a helping hand, make me laugh, help me through good and bad times. There was never a waiver of doubt, she just did it. She was one of the most caring, funniest people I knew, she could watch ten kids at once and not blink an eye. She was compassionate about her family and friends. I am sorry I didn't get to see her recently and tell her what a good friend she was, but she knew that. My thoughts are with all of you and I know there will always be a piece of her in each of u, whether it is a fast cracking joke, a funny facial expression, or the love that you will carry on from Risa. I will especially remember your mom every time I make "Risa potatoes" I will now treasure the recipe she gave me forever. My thoughts are with all of you.
Sincerely,
Dora (Your mom's old freind from ST. Mary's days)

John, Mindy, Keri, Megan, and Kyle we are all deeply saddened for your loss. There are no words that can describe how we feel at this time. Risa was truly a special person who touched the lives of many families.

Risa, our family would like to thank you for being such a big part of our lives. It was always comforting to know that our kids were spending their day in your kind, loving home with you and your wonderful family. Domenic, Sophie, and Ella all loved you very much as was evidenced by the big hugs and kisses they would insist on giving you before leaving at the end of the day. You have a place in all of our hearts and will truly be missed, especially by one little boy.

Risa,
It's hard to imagine that we had to say goodbye to you today. You were such a strong woman, and a strong spirit. I will miss the laughs we had about the goings on in the neighborhood. Mike will miss messing with you all the time--and you giving it right back! Brandon will miss the special Halloween treat you made for him every year. You always put the extra effort into everything you did!! We are so lucky to have you and John for our neighbors.

Mindy, Kerri, Meghan, and Kyle, we can't imagine your pain right now. But remember that your mom was a great inspiration to many people, and we can see that quality in all of you!

We know that you have alot of support--and don't forget we are here for you too! :)
Love,
Laurie, Mike, Brandon and Brendt

Dear John, Mindy, Keri, Meghan and Kyle,
We are so sorry for your loss.
I had the opportunity to come into Risa and your lives when Risa cared for my daughter Grace.
Risa took care of her like she was one of her own, always on her hip when I arrived at the door, like she was the only one that mattered. Risa and John created one of the most strongest and supportive families that I have ever met. Each and every one of you were there for Risa when in need. Gracie and I have always said, "God Bless Risa" when we say prayers at bedtime and we will continue to. She has made an impact on our lives and the life of our young daughter.
We will miss her.

Risa,it's been almost 3 years since you left us. The pain is stil very much there. You were truly a wonderful Mom sister and wife. You weren't just my sister, but you were also my best friend. A day has not gone by when I don't think of you and remember the fun you used to have. I will always love you and miss you all the days of my life.
