I am so sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. I remember her as a very nice young lady as a teenager. We lived in the same neighborhood and attended the same schools. I don't know how it feels to lose a sibling but I know the pain of losing someone who we've loved all our lives. The pain is almost unbearable and it devastates us. I hope you, her family members, will receive comfort from Jehovah, the God of all comfort "while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7. I am sure you will all comfort one another by being together when you can and sharing the many good times and experiences you had with Lorna. By doing these things she will live forever in your hearts and memories. I am very sorry for your loss. You have my sincerest condolences.

My deepest condolences to all the family. Lorna was a very loving and kind person. I smiled that she was called the gum lady because I remember back in Gilbert Stuart Jr High her favorite was Juicy Fruit gum. Rest in Heavenly Peace

To the family of Lorna Gomes, my sincerest sympathy. Lorna was such a joy, and enjoyed her life to the fullest. We had many fun times together on Martha’s Vineyard. She was so happy just to sit on the beach at the inkwell, and dip her feet in the ocean. I will always remember the times spent with Lorna. Love and Peace to this sweet family.

I was so sorry to learn of Lorna's passing, I stumbled upon her obituary while on Keefe's website, the last time that I saw her was at the Irving gas station in East Providence with her sister. I know the whole family and I would have attended the services had I known of her passing. She and her family were frequent patrons at Snubs and Lorna always had a big smile whenever I saw her. I hope that she's in peace at a better place and no longer suffering from her illness. May God bless her family members with comfort as they mourn her untimely passing.
