I met Lonnie in 1987-We both worked at the East Side laundromat decades ago. He was a kind person and always helping others. I am honored to have called him a friend!

I am truly sorry for the loss of your dear father and grandfather, Lonnie. My connection to him was in our elementary school as he was a year behind me and our common thread was music. I recognized his amazing talent as a young boy, remembering how incredibly well he played the accordion and entertained us! Well done, dear maestro, rest in peace.

Lonnie jamming at the Chicken Shack will remain fun memories for me. He was such an amazing musician and entertainer, never thinking twice about showing the drummer what he was doing wrong, or sending Yvonne on trips across town to get soup and such, in endearing Lonnie style. We will all miss you, gone way too soon.

I was shocked to hear of Lonnie's passing, I was looking forward to hearing him at the CV Club on Sunday because I haven't had the pleasure of attending any of his performances since he played for me at Snubs. He was a regular during our Sunday Jams and he was incredible on that organ. He also had a wonderful personality so I'm sure that he'll be missed by many. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his children and grandchildren for their loss, take some comfort in knowing that he's performing in God's orchestra right now and he will always be with you and he's your new guardian angel.

The the family and friends of Lonnie, I was really saddened to learn of Lonnie’s passing. I met him as a teenager, a great frind of Paul Imondi. I would go to their gigs and listen in. He served as the best man at our wedding. He grew in talent that far surpassed just New England. I’m sure he’s playing in Heaven now, in the Ultimate Jam Band! May his love for God, family, friends and music live on as his undying legacy.
