I met Cedric through the Nonviolence Institute/ Providence Police Department partnership. What started as a business relationship quickly developed into a friendship, based on mutual respect. What impressed me the most about Cedric was all his efforts were for the good of the entire community. Cedric was about the community, it was never about him. To The Huntley Family, I’m so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. We were classmates and teammates at St. Michael’s. Years later, we reconnected, I shared an old photo with him and we laughed. Reflecting back to the late 60s-early 70s, I just remember even back then, Cedric seemed to make difference in those he surrounded and those he encountered. He will surely be missed. He was also pretty cool.
