Sorry to learn of Ray’s passing. I referred to my Class of 56 Westerdays yearbook, and saw that he was active on various committees, obviously that continued in his lifetime.Ray made a difference. May your memories offer comfort during this sad time and in the years to come.

I taught at Potter-Burns when Ray was the principal. He was the consummate professional. I greatly admired his ability to relate to staff, parents, and especially students. I will always have fond memories of him. You have my deepest sympathies.

To the family of Ray Beretta,
I also had the pleasure of working with Ray when he was the principal at Potter Burns. I , too think of ray as a "prince of a man". Despite what was happening, Ray always remained calm and was respectful to all involved. He also always kept his sense of humor. I have worked with many principals, all of whom I admired, but Ray has always been my favorite. So sorry for your loss.
