My heartfelt condolences...I will always remember Sandra 's enthusiastic and sparkling smile while we did our exercises together at Leon Mathieu Senior Center in Pawtucket. Every time we do your "favorite" over and under exercise we will always think of how special you were. That exercise will now be in memory of you as we now will name it "Sandies"!!!
You brought sunshine to every class I taught!!!

Sandra was a fellow teacher when I taught at Cunningham. She was a lot of fun, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Deery was always fun to hang out with - she had a very mischievous way to her, which was always a lot of fun. My Mom Janice spent many years teaching with her at Cunningham. You will never been forgotten Ms. Deery!

Sandra was a true friend. When I began teaching, our principal, Mae Buckley, told Sandra to "take her down to her room and break her in." That Sandra did with a flare!
When it came to getting a Masters, Sandra, who knew we had just bought a house, told me to go for an MAT...Masters of Art in Teaching...that it would be a Masters, but it would save us the cost of 2 extra courses. Sandra taught me about annuities...a true friend, and an astute business woman! When the city of Pawtucket offered courses after school for free, it was Sandra who asked me to come along with her. Result...Masters 30. Sandra did so much for me, and she taught me so much. I was and forever will be grateful for her caring and tutelage.
You were a true friend, Sandra, and I think about you and miss you every single day. Til we meet again....

Sandy and I got to know each other in our freshman year of college both of us went out for sports we played field hockey I was a fullback and Sandra was the goalie it was something to see her dressed in all of the goalie equipment I remember one day in the fall there were a lot of leaves on the ground and they covered up small holes and whatnot Sandy still had the goalie equipment on and she actually fell in a small hole and the two of us were laughing because you couldn't get out of the hole because of her equipment I miss those days and I miss seeing you so much for the time that we were in college and yes I did teach at Cunningham for a few years before I got married we had so much fun together and we were so friends I'll miss her greatly goodbye my friend
