I cannot put into words what I feel. Sra Lourenca was one of a kind. She was an amazing human being. my grandparents adored her& loved her so much. She was family to us. She was family to me. I love her & I’m going to miss her so much. Sra Lourenca thank you for everything , thank you for loving my Avos & being there for them, and loving me! I will forever remember the times we spent together! Sending my condolences & prayers & love to Sr. Brito & their beautiful daughters & family during this difficult time.

Dear Vanda, It is true that I am very far away. However, you know about the friendship between me and your mother Lourença. Your mother helped me a lot to integrate well into the Creole Church. A woman of faith, she fought until she was a child. My heart is very sad and I would like to be there, close to you and your father José, to give you a big hug and comfort. Lourença stays with me in my heart and in my prayers.
