I met Sue at a craft fair when I bought my first Webkinz. I could have guessed how attached my kids would get to the toy, but never how much they would get attached to Sue. She was so patient and kind. Very quickly our trips "to get a Webkinz" instead turned into trips "to see Sue". This probably comes as no surprise to Sue's friends and family; it's just one example of how many people she touched and how deeply she will be missed. My family & I were certainly blessed to know her and our thoughts are with you.

It still hasn't sunk in, but my deepest sympathy to Sue's family. I was very fortunate to meet Sue when she first opened her store. My whole house is full of Sue's Crafts, and so are most of my families homes.
Always that smile, especially when she had her grandson and when you entered the store.
May she be at peach and know that she will be missed by us all.

Dear Chris and family,
I am so very sorry to have read about Sue's death in the Providence Journal. She was a wonderful Lady who I loved talking to at Elaine's Beauty Salon. Her adoration and love of her entire family was so evident in every conversation I ever had with her. I know you are all devastated. I send my deepest sympathy. Love, Kate Keating

my tribute to sister Sue

Life goes on without you

But nothing remains the same,

We have such heartache

When someone speaks your name.

Taken from us so quickly,
which no one can explain
Our hearts are filled with such
disbelief and pain.
Living without you
will be
the hardest part of all.

You did so many things
for us
as well as for all

Your heart was generous,
Compassionate
and true,

And when someone needed something

they could always
count on you.

The times we’ve shared with you
will never return

but all the wonderful memories
will stay with us forever.

Sad are the hearts that loved you and
Grateful are the people who knew you.
Your wings have grown
and you need to go
so Please
stay close
and help us all through
as you are
our only Sue.

Words cannot express
how much
we will all miss you
because,
You were the best
daughter,
niece,
sister,
wife,
mother,
auntie,
cousin,
grammie
and friend
a person could ever ask for.

Love you forever
Chrisy

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Sue just 2 weeks ago at the store during Webkinz days. She was very gracious and excited and we discussed having a Webkinz birthday party for my two children in a few months. We were talking about it just last week and my daughter was so excited at the thought that Sue could come to our home. We may never understand why people cross our path or why they are taken from us so soon. We just have to be very thankful that they did cross our path and that we appreciate and are better for the time that we were able to spend with them. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Richard, Yvonne and Family,

So sorry for your loss. I remember how easy it was to make Sue laugh, especially when Ricky was around to get her started. I still have a window ornament that she made for me years ago. Be comforted to know how much of an impression she made on all of those around her. My thoughts are with all of you.

To the family of my dear friend, Sue.
Whenever I took my children to see Sue, she would always go out of her way to treat them like they were her own. That is how her heart was. She filled her store with the same warmth that filled her heart. You could feel it whenever you entered her store. It was like a warm country home. I stopped by many times just to chat with my friend. I loved Sue and she will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. To Amy, Please carry on in her footsteps, she was so talented and creative and so are you. You can keep your mothers memory alive in your creations. She was so proud of all of you. I wish you comfort and healing in the days to come. May God heal your hearts and bring you comfort. My children and I will never forget our friend, Sue.
With deepest sympathy,
Diane Good and children, Lindsey, Jimmy, Spencer and Nancy.

To my loving sister, Sue
I love you sooooo much, it just doesn't seem fair that you were taken from us, my heart is broken into a million pieces and I'm not sure it will ever heal......I have to believe that God must have needed you more. You were the best and touched the hearts of hundreds of people. I know many children will be deeply saddened by the loss of you also.
I am going to miss all of our many daily conversations, our shopping, camping and quilting trips, just to name a few. There is not enough room to say all the wonderful things about you and all that I am going to miss about you. You know how I feel about you and how special you were to all of us, especially to my son, Pauly.
Please watch over us and keep us safe as we are having such difficulty with you being gone. And I will make sure Zachary will always know how much his Grammie loved him and how he was your "Sunshine". Rest assure we are helping and will be there for Ronnie, Amy, Eric, Zachary, Lola, Link and Zelda. Lastly, I want you to know that even with all my saddness I am truly happy that you are at peace. I will Love you always and forever.
Love your baby sister, Karen

I have been thinking about all of you. Since Sue passed away, I still can not believe it. I'm sending you this poem in hopes that it will help you all in a way that it helped me when I lost my mother.
I am home in heaven dear ones, oh so happy and so bright, there is perfect joy and beauty, in this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing past, I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly trod the valley of the shade? Oh but Jesus loved illhuminated, every dark and fearfull glade.
And he came himself to meet me, In that way so hard to tread, and with Jesus' arm to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still, try to look beyond Earth's shadows, pray to trust out father's will.
There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand, do it now, while life remaineth, you shall rest in Jesus land.
When that work is all completed, he will gently call you home. Oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come.

I am here if you need me.
Love,
Cindy

I knew Sue for a few years, only from going into the store and buying webkinz for my children. She was always so warm and inviting. She made my children and I feel at home every time we went in. When I heard the news of her passing, I was shocked. When I shared the terrible news with my family, all 3 of my young children burst into tears. I can't imagine what her family must be going through. She had such an impact on our lives just as an aquaintance. Our thoughts are with you. She was such a talented, and truly kind hearted person.
