We were youths together at St.Mathieu's Grammar School. Duke as he was called remained
in life as he was as a child a kind, gentle soul with great respect and love for everyone.
He was also loved and respected. There should
be more Duke's in the world.

We became friends in 1943 and we remained friends until the end. Our experiences through out this span would make good reading, in book form. Alas, all that remain are memories of our experiences we so often shared. Ir has been five years now since Duke's passing. I miss his presence while knowing it was a blessing for me to have such an honest, loyal friend.

His only wish was to be remembered as a good person. He certainly was that and so much more. Looking forward to joining him in the afterlife. RIP
