I was first introduced to Adalberto through my wife, Maria Gomes in 1979 when we visited his family in Rhode Island. I will always remember his warm smile, hearty laugh and big heart. His love of music, the ocean and sharing stories of his homeland, Brava are all still vivid in my mind these many years later. In his daughter, Nellie and son,Daby, I see the same love of life which they both carry with them to this day.

Nelly & Dah.... I am sending hugs and love to the both of you. I am so sorry for your loss... I am happy that I got the chance to meet your father Xavier looks just like him. He is on to a better place, peace and no pain. I know that doesn't make your physical loss any better but I love the both of you very much sending you love and hugs and kisses!
