Ma, I can't stress enough how much I LOVE YOU. This is so hard to believe. I miss your face, I miss seeing smoke so much that you made me complain not that you listened anyway. We do not know why things happen the way they do. Some things we have control of, others we cannot control. Well God had a plan and with his resurrection on Easter, he wispered in your mothers ear, "come with me, peace be thine." I arrived home from a business trip on 4/11/12 to learn of Lillian's passing. Even though we have not seen each other for 5 years I felt as I loss a sister, mom and best friend all rolled into one. I had the honor of knowing Lillian from my early youth and throughout my adult life. They do not make them better, stronger, smarter or more of a loving person than Lillian Lavallee.
Tonight when I attended her wake I saw many old friend and those who loved her. I was proud to be a small part of her life and because of Lillian I will always remember where I came from and I will always love her.
God Bless her family, friends and never forget what a special and beautiful person she was.
