I was very saddened today to hear the news of Eddys passing, he was a kindred spirit , and helped me when I was in need! I pray for Brandon and Tyler, he loved those boys and and his daughter Nicole, even tho I did not meet her, I know they were recently reunited and he was ecstatic about it and his grandchildren. Eddy would give u the shirt off his back if u needed it. Thank you buddy for all u did for me, I will never forget you , rest easy now pal, rest easy , much love. Pat

Our thoughts and prayers to his family. Eddy (aka...the cool guy) was a part of our family since he was 8 years old and will be sadly missed. He was an awesome person and friend and our hearts are truly broken.

Today I heard a good friend of mine I haven't seen in more than 20 years passed away. It felt like a punch in the gut to hear Ed is gone.
Ed, I will always remember the good times and cherish the found memories we had when we were younger and hung out.
Jumping off cliffs with Freddy, shooting shot guns in the woods in North Smithfield, listening to REM, helping you fix the transmision in your blue caddy (I held it up while you tighten the bolts)...Checking out McCoy's fire works in your jeep, four wheeling in my Bronco. Just a lot a great times hanging out with you.
Our lifes weren't complicated when we were younger, not a care in the world just some great times I will always remember hanging out with you.
Although I haven't seen you in over 20 years I did try to contact you through facebook. I emailed you my cell number hoping to reconnect just to catch up on the years gone by but it never happened.
I know your in a better place especially if you weren't doing good.
The day will come I'm sure of it we will see each other again and hang out like we did when we were both much younger.
I loved you like a brother and hope your family gets through their loss ok. It takes time but it will happen. I know what it is to loose the ones closest to you. Life changes but they're presence is always there as long as you remember them and the better times you shared.

The day I heard of Eddy's passing I felt like someone punched me in my stomach. Eddy was a very good friend to me, he was a loveing & careing man. He loved his boy's very much. I knew about Ed's illness & I wished him well & I never thought it would result in his death. Ed, you are at home now & what a place heaven must be. I will see you again one day Im sure of that, just hold my place until that day comes. Rest in peace my friend... You will be greatly missed.

I am sorry to read this. I went looking on Facebook to see if I could connect with him. I was a senior at Tolman High School in 1986 working with Eddie. He was the Bus Driver and I was the Bus Monitor. I had a fun time with him. Last I saw him, I ran into him in the 1990's at The LaFayette Club. It was nice to see him again. He told me he was working in Wrentham. I have thought of him often over the years. Rest in Peace, Eddie. Until you all meet again, to Eddie's family, remember the good times. Godspeed.
