Barbara, Eileen,David,Jimmy,and Donna,
Once again the sounds of Ivy Street come flooding back into my memories. It was only a short time ago that this happened when Fred passed away. I think of all of us piling into the car to go to Eddies for ice cream or McCoy for fire works. The laughter in the pool and the boys screaming Bobby Orr scores again. Sometimes it seems like yesterday. Though it was sad when Fred passed away it was wonderful to see all of you and I couldn't imagine then, that it would be the last time I would see Joyce. Her great big smile and her giggle is what I remember most. All of you are so near and dear to my heart and though we don't see each other often you are never far from my thoughts or my heart. This week I have been thinking of all of you and wishing and praying that Joyce would get better. I am just so sorry Joyce lost her battle...
I love you all.... Patty

To My Other Mother

You are the other Mother I received,
the day I wed your son
And I want to thank you Mom,
for the loving things you've done.

You've given me a gracious Man,
with whom I share my life
You are his lovely Mother,
and I his lucky Wife.

You used to pat his little head,
and now I hold his hand
You raised in love a little boy,
and then gave me the Man

MISS SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU JOYCE AND A PART OF YOU WITH LIVE WITH ME ALWAYS!!

God, I pray to You everyday, don’t let us grow bitter in this shadow of death we need You. God I ask of You to pierce our hearts with a joy that we can not fathom or understand, as You blew into my soul with the passing of my mama. A joy that is above all that is corrupted here on earth. But it is a grief and a mourning that holds joy on the other side. We trust that You will do what is right for the family and friends of Joyce and what is loving. Whether in death or in life, family members and friends keep this mind Gods will is accomplished. May we know Your presence, God, during this time that You have sent for another one of Your children. Keep us ever aware of Your loving hand and continue to guide us through all things. In the name of God we pray, Amen.

I love you Auntie Joyce.

~ Longing For One More Day~
When we lose someone we love it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence... a quiet sadness... A longing for one more day... one more word... one more touch... We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We will see you again some day, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. A place where there are no words that mean good-bye.

To Dave, you must always remember the great love you brought to Joyce--truly, you will always be soulmates!
To Matt and Drew, you two brought your mom so much joy, so much love and so much life! Never forget that you two were as important to her as she was to you! Never give up on any battle and always take time to find and enjoy the good things in life!
To Tiffany, always know that Joyce loved you and awaited the new baby with such anticipation...she will always be there.
To Barbara, Joyce is always with you...only a thought away...you will always feel her heartbeat.
To all of my siblings...the loss you feel right now will one day be replaced with fond memories...as we all learned with Dad's passing just last year...we NEVER forget those we love.
To the rest of the family: grandchildren and new great grandchild, daughters in law, nieces and nephews...you all brought such joy to Joyce...never forget that!

May God wrap Joyce in his arms and allow her to feel all of our hugs and hear all of our prayers.

With Love,
Robbie & Roger

My heartfelt condolensces go out to all of Joyce's loved ones. Hers was a life taken from her and everyone way too soon. Fortunately there are those wonderful memories that we can all hold close to our hearts. I will always remember her wonderful, mischievous smile, no doubt inherited from her father!
