Dear family of Roseanna,
I am sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is never an easy thing to cope with, no matter what their age. But you can find some solace in knowing that Roseanna lived a long life and was able to experience things many never will. You can also find solace in knowing that you have the opportunity to see her again. John 5:28 and 29 state, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Christ's] voice and come out." I hope this message provides you with some comfort.

Dear Mom/Jan/Memere

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Memere was blessed with a full life. We admire your strength during this difficult time and are so proud of the wonderful way you cared for your mother right until the end. Despite the obstacles in your way, you persevered and demonstrated the TRUE love a daughter has for her mother, NOT her chattels. I cannot be with you at the service but I will be there in spirit. Love, your daughter and family

What a beautiful day - memere looked beautiful thanks to Connie and all the thought and care she put into making memere look beautiful and dignified. What a tribute to her beautiful life. I am so proud of all the grace you three have shown. Memere was looking down from heaven and had a smile on her face. Christmas and all the holidays will never be the same - but we are so fortunate to have shared in so many. Love is understanding, sharing and giving of oneself and the three of you have shown that throughout the years - - Priceless. It was an honor to know memere and it is an honor to have you in my family. love, love, love

Mom, what a beautiful day it turned out to be. The funeral home did such a wonderful job in making Memere look just the way she used to. The time you and memere shared alone after the ceremony will bring her peace and comfort in knowing she raised a wonderful daughter who cared for her until the end. We are so proud to be your daughters because like memere you are a remarkable woman. Memere can now rest in peace.

Thank you to everyone who attended my Grandmother's wake and services. It is nice to see that she was truly loved by so many people. She touched so many lives in her 98 years and her memory will always be with us. Mom and Dad, I cannot tell you how proud I am to have watched you be by her side right up until the end. It is not easy to spend 14 hours a day watching someone you love dying. The strength and character you showed during those 5 days is remarkable. You were determined to not let her pass away alone, and through your commitment and selflessness she died being surrounded by her loving family. You allowed her to have the dignity and love she deserved right up until she took her last breath. Dad, I know that she was special to you. For 8 years you visited her almost every day and you can take comfort in that. She was your priority, just as it should have been. Mom, she always called you her "angel" and said how lucky she was to have you. And you made her look so beautiful for her memorial services.
To the entire Hebert family: Thank you for always treating my grandmother as though she were your own flesh and blood. I know that all of your visits to the nursing home meant a great deal to her. Thank you for all the times you welcomed her into your homes with open arms and for the MANY holiday celebrations you shared with her. She cherished the many memories you all helped her to create.
Lastly I want to thank the extaordinary people of the nursing home. Fola, Dolores and everyone else who went above and beyond the call of duty. She could be FEISTY at times but to me she was a loving grandmother. I sincerely thank you for the exceptional care you provided to her. It was apparent, especially during her final days, that she was not just a resident but someone you genuinely cared about.
Memere, I love you!

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
