Sweetheart, I have a huge whole in my heart that will never be filled. I miss you so much and love you! I have peace knowing that our Lord welcomed you into his kingdom and that you were greeted at the gates by many of our loved ones. You were the best husband a woman could have ever wanted! You never forgot any of our important dates and brought me flowers just because! Sending you my love.... xxx ooo

You shared a love that trancended time and space which is very rare to have. You both were blessings to each other. I hope that love fills you with strength and faith to see through the darkened skies! May you feel James love and presence every day and may joy one day fill your heart knowing that he is now an angel looking over you! Peace and love!

I had the privilege of working with Jim last year. He was a special man, a good listener, and always willing to help others. I am sorry that our time working together was cut short by his illness. I'll never forget his special spagetti sauce. I will miss our conversations but I find comfort knowing that he is with the Lord. I am so sorry for your loss, may the lord be with you Anne-Marie and your family. Blessings to all...

Anne-Marie,
Seldom do we meet people we have an instant bond with and feel like we've known for years rather than minutes. That is how you came into my life and just hearing your loving stories of Jim made me feel as if I knew him too. My mouth salivated over all the wonderful sounding food he prepared for you!!
You two had and still have a love few find. Cherish every memory and be blessed in knowing you had the love some only dream of finding in a husband. It is impossible to understand why loved ones are taken from us too soon. I rejoice with you in knowing that he is with the Lord and you will be reunited some day.
Sending hugs, love and prayers to you to help ease the pain.

Anne-Marie,
How does one summarize approximatlely 28 years of true friendship with you and Jim? I can't, but I'll try anyway. First of all, you know that my heart and prayers are daily with you going through this most difficult of times, for in a good Christian marriage as you and Jim had, you were, as the Bilbe says, "no longer two but one flesh." When one effectively loses part of himself, there is a certain emptiness that will always remain. Lean hard on our Lord and cry out to Him for His comfort, grace, and loving presence. As to Jim, I loved his faithfulness as a friend, his truthfulness - not always apprecieated by those who don't like hearing the truth - his caring attitude toward others, his willingness to give of himself when he saw a need, his love of his wife and children (and grandchildren) always on display, the fact that he was simply fun to be around, that he didn't complain under difficult circumstances as many do, and obviously his love for his Lord Jesus Christ for whom he desired to live his life. And that is where he is right now, rejoicing with the Lord, and, I'm certain, looking forward to the time when he is rejoined with his entire family, when, as Jesus Himself promised that He "shall wipe away every tear from our eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain....and He who sits on the throne says, 'Behold, I am making all things new.'"

I look back at 20 yrs of True Friendship with Jim & Ann-Marie can't forget the fun times. All the dinners at the lake house. Cruising around the lake. And talking for hours. Jim's guidance and words of wisdom will never be forgot. I will miss being able to call and ask his advice and opinion. We did not always agree but I knew his words were from the heart. I will miss You Bubba... And be there to help Anne-Marie and Annie & Jim as they try to continue without you there by their side... I know you are with Our Lord and smiling down. Sorry I did not make your memorial service but was here starting my new job as you would have told me to be... I will forever be your friend and Love you and your Family as my own. You all have been more of a Family to me than my own brother... Rest in Peace Brother and don't worry about the ones you left behind... We will miss you but we rest assured that we will see you again. Your Brother in Christ.

Dad,
I am so blessed to have spent 32 years with you....never being far for too long...you are my Dad, my friend, my biggest supporter. The bond between a father and his daughter is such a special and unique one. I remember being a little girl and you'd lift me on your shoulders, I felt on top of the world. You gave our family the best life...my childhood is full of
memories of our trips and adventures, weekends on the lake, and at canoby lake park, camping trips with the Dumonts. I always knew how much I was loved and am forever grateful for that.
We are a lot alike, Dad, and we always understood each other, sometimes even unspoken. I'm going to miss that so very
much! Thank you for your constant love and support, for pushing me to be the best I can, for being proud of my accomplishments big and small, for giving me the strength to believe in my dreams and never fall back on Plan B's. I have learned so much from you and the way you lived your life.
I will miss your amazing gourmet cooking, and I will attempt to make your recipes!
Dad, you're gone too soon ,there's so much left I wanted to share, but I know you will be with me, and I know one day I will be with you again in Heaven.
I am so grateful that I was able to spend so much time with you during your illness, it hurt to see you go through it but there's nowhere else I'd rather be. You're strength, attitude, and sense of humor through it all was beautiful.
You always put others first, Dad, I'm proud to be your daughter, I miss you so much, and I love you with all of my heart!
Anne-Marie
