Dear Jose Gomes (Djey),

I always hear about people passing in our community, but many times I do not know who they are or their families. This time is much different as I got to know you and your families.

Out of the few times we shared moments together, I can say that you were a man with lots of character and great personality. You treated your friends like family and expected no less from them. Some of the moments I will carry with me are the moments we spent together last year around 4th of July when we were having a blast around the fire pit along with your cousins at your aunt’s house. You were hilarious and we shared many amusing moments.

My condolences go to all your family and friends. Certainly, this world is less without you here with us. May you rest in peace my dear friend!
