Maria is so in a much better place, she waited a long time to go home to her place in heaven. I wanted you to know, I had Maria on my list for prayers and communion on Sundays at the nursing home. The Sunday before she passed, the eucharistic minister's team joined me in praying at her bedside. We assume she could hear subliminaly. She was a sweatheart before her illness took her. My sympathies to the family.

Querida Mae
It is never easy to leave a mother or to say “goodbye”.
Your face is always on my mind as I remember great memories of our family united and the lessons in life you taught me.
Mae the last time I saw you – I knew you were tired of suffering – your end was near yet you fought for us. Just as you taught us to be “fighters” in life. You are my inspiration and I will forever be proud to have been your son.
For as long as I have those memories – we will NEVER be apart because every night before I sleep- I have you in my prayers.
Today Heaven has received an Angel and until God calls me back home and we meet again – you will live forever through us. I am sure you are with Pae now – may you look down on us always and know how much we love you both.
Mae – it is so hard for me not to be there today. I am there in soul and your love is in my heart forever!
I will always love and cherish you
Placido
To My precious sisters: Theresa, Maria, Fatima and Celina – there are no words big enough to Thank-you and show you my gratitude for all you did to help and care for mae. It was so hard for me to live so far away but I know you did your best and I am eternally grateful to have such high quality sisters. May God bless you and your families always for all the good that you have done.
To all of you who helped my mother along her hard road of suffering, especially her son’s in laws; grandchildren and great grandchildren and everyone else – I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God Bless you all.

Querida Avo
May God grant you eternal rest and peace now with no more suffering. You were always very kind to us and we thank you for giving us the father we have.
When pae talks about you – he speaks of you with such respect and adoration. He has really missed you and our tia’s. Go in peace now Avo to be with Our Lord. We promise to always look after daddy.

THE DAY GOD TOOK YOU HOME
God looked around his garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed your tired eye’s. He whispered to you “Peace be Thine” and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, we would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You’ve left us precious memories, your love will be our guide. You live on through your children, you’re always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God took you home.
Kisses and Hugs Avo
