Ive seen him around Davies a couple of times and when i did he was always smiling and laughing and trying to get others to laugh too.He will be missed by all who had the chance to meet him and all who have been graced by his presence.I am sorry for your loss.

I never had much of a chance to really get to know you but everytime I saw you in the halls at Davies you had this huge smile and you would always make people laugh. My condolences to the family and I pray that someday I'll see you again. RIP

SO sorry for the loss of this young man. Demitri was a kind and soft-spoken thoughtful man. He was a friend of my grandchildren and did some landscaping work for me. He was driven to succeed and seemed to enjoy everything that he experienced.

I watched De-Mitiri grow from kindergarten to 5th grade.. some kids shine more than others.. He surely shined.. always with that handsome smile and that gruff "Hi Ms.Pam"..Always there to help if I needed it.. R.I.P... God speed..

A huge laugh, an enormous heart. De-mitri left an impact on all those around us. His presence was something everyone could enjoy. Rest in peace, Meat. You showed resilience to the very end, and that is very admirable. My deepest condolences to the family.

I witnessed this young man's huge funeral cortège passing to the burial yesterday and was impressed by how many people were going to this person's burial. There were sooo many folks, on two major streets that I knew this person was very special and very much loved. I felt I wanted. To see who this special person was. Now I know a little about how much love surrounded him. I am sorry for your loss and wish you blessed peace. God bless you al.

to the friends and family of a very special young man..at my time as a "lunch lady" at Davies I ran into kids all day, a few touched me and became my "favorites" the ones who were always respectful, smiling, and all around great people.De-Mitri was one of those. I've suffered from anxiety/depression for most of my young life. Never before have I met someone who took me so far out of my shell. He stuck with me after I dropped out of school due to my illness. I once told Demitri, for all that he did for me, he would be at my funeral. After telling me not to say such a thing, he said to me "We're going to make it." He helped me believe. His purity will always exist within my soul.
God bless the family. Without them, such a miracle of humanity would have never existed. Thank you so much. My condolences. May his spirit lift all our heavy hearts.
