So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Death is such a horrible thing to have to cope with, but what may help is by being reminded of the promises from God. John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Jesus resurrected many while here on earth, so we can have confidence that he will resurrect our loved ones. May you also find comfort in your good memories.

First my deepest condolences to Steven's family especially his wife and children. I was lucky enough to know Steve personally, he used to walk with me to school every morning and my mom liked him too. Last time I seen steve he worked for Joe the barber he could cut a mean fade, I could go on, and on. Rest in Peace old friend I'll will always remember you.
