Our pepere kept a forest.
A forest of the heart;
He planted all the good things,
That gave our lives their start.
He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rain came,
He protected us enough;
But not too much because he knew
We would stand up strong and tough.
His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway that will last
a lifetime long.
We are our Pepere’s saplings,
We are his legacy.
Thank you Pepere, we love you!
Your grandchildren.

You are home in Heaven
Oh, so happy so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossed passed;
You are now at peace forever,
Safety home in Heaven at last.

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we've lost our Peperre, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears
But Peperre would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family
Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Peperre to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart
For me I am glad my little baby he got to meet
And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete
To each one of us he has loved and cared
And a family, be thankful for the good times we shared
Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Peperre looking down on us from afar
And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Peperre with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Peperre as he is very dear to us
Peperre if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Peperre we miss you and love you so

To my Dad,
How much I love you and feel so blessed to have had a dad like you! What a wonderful life you gave to us all! I will always remember your animated stories and your wonderful French accent!
Thank you for loving us as you did and giving us the faith and work ethics that you did.
I was so blessed to have a Mom who stayed home to raise us and it was all becasue of your hard work, Dad.
I know when you went to heaven Jesus said: Welcome, faithful servant!
I miss you so much Dad but I know you, Mom and Chad and so many others are all happier than you have ever been!
LOTS of LOVE,
Anne-Marie
