You gave your family all that we needed, not only to make our own way, but to help you and
Mom continue make yours as well. I am saddened
to see you go, but am glad that we were able to
help you along your chosen path and that your
passing was, as much as we all could manage, in the way you had hoped for. Take pride and peace that we will look after Mom as you had always done.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends. It is fair to say that God understands the pain and grief that you are experiencing. He gave his only-begotten Son in behalf of all people (John3:16). Thus, the words at Psalms 34:18 take on deeper meaning when it says he “is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in the spirit.” We pray for God's will to be done on EARTH as it is in heaven and when that time comes, how joyful we will be when all of God’s promises are fulfilled. For John 5:28, 29 say that there will be a resurrection and Revelation 21:3, 4 says that “pain, sorrow and death” will be gone forever. Meditating on these promises and the joy Mary and Martha felt when Lazarus was resurrected will help us cope during these difficult times. I hope these thoughts along with God’s Word the Bible provide you with a measure of comfort during this difficult time. (Psalms 83:18)

Upon hearing of his passing, my first thought of Uncle Henry was of him riding his bike with the little electric motor and of the questions he would ask of me regarding heating technology.

Dad, You were a great dad and provider. I especially remember when I was little you always would kneel with me and pray with me before bed. I am relieved that you are at peace and will suffer no more. I hope that you continue to pray for me so I can carry on without you. I have no regrets of the past two years. We had some good talks and you still made me laugh at some of the things you would say. I will cherish those times. Although the end was painful for me, I know you are in a better place. I sure hope they serve coffee ice cream in Heaven!!! Until we meet again.....your favorite daugther. Love you!! Cathy
