Regina and family,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I just heard moments ago, otherwise I would have been at the funeral. I have so many wonderful memories from childhood that your mom is a part of. I remember her sitting on my front porch talking with my grandfather as the baseball games played in the field. I remember her always walking to and from the market or store and never needing or wanting help from anyone, always able to do it herself. Most importantly though, I remember her warmth and her smile that was always present on her face. She was an amazing woman and she will be missed very much. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do during this difficult time and be comforted by the fact that now she is walking with the angels.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends. The God of comfort reassures us that he is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We are thankful to know we will see our loved ones again on the earth because of the loving hope of the resurrection Jesus promised at John 5:28, 29. Let those precious memories of your dear loved one Candida be foremost in your thoughts and draw comfort from the wonderful times you spent together and cherish them. With deep respect I offer my sincere sympathy to all of you who knew and loved her. I hope these thoughts along with God’s Word the Bible provide you with a measure of comfort during this difficult time (Psalms 83:18).
