Words can't express how much I'm going to miss you and how sorry I am that you're gone. My heart is filled with regret that your #1 son can't be there for you, but I know you would want me to be here. Dad, you were a stand up guy, one of the best, you did'nt deserve to go out like this, but you did'nt deserve to continue suffering either. You always approached me with a sense of love and authority that I will always remember. I only hope one day I can be the fraction of the father that you were. Im glad we grew closer during your final years and I gave you Giselle, your only grandchild. Im going to always miss you Old Man... Until the end of time...

I met Rick when he joined us at Mutual Benefit Life after leaving Aetna in the late 70's. He was an outstanding life insurance agent and he served honorably as the president of what was known then as the RI Life Underwriters Association now known as NAIFA-RI. As a long-time member of NAIFA and past president of the RI Society of Financial Service Professionals, I worked with Rick on various issues pertaining to our industry. I am sorry that I was not aware of Rick's illness. My condolences to his family. He was a gentleman with a personalty larger then life. Sincerely, David

Don Benoit told me yesterday that Rick had passed in December. I was both shocked and saddened. Rick, Don and I hung out all the time when we were kids at St Mathieu's.
