Dear Jane, Victor, Lisa and your families,
Our love and deepest condolences are sent to you for your loss of Auntie Lucille. It must be so difficult to have lost both Uncle Tony and Auntie in such a short time. But we hope there is some comfort in knowing they are back together as the constant companions they always were, and even better, in the presence of Our Lord. Auntie was a real original, one-of-a-kind person. She spoke her mind and there was no artifice in her. At times, she was quite ahead of her time. I remember as a teen listening to her converse with my parents at their frequent evening get-togethers (which involved much antipasto and even more wine!). It was in the 1970s, the new era of "Women's Lib" and demure little Auntie Lucille would be offering her "feminist-type" opinions to my old-school, traditional Italian parents. I'm sure they were pretty shocked at the time! But I remember being in bed listening and thinking, "You go, Auntie Lucille!". But she was also traditional in her kind, generous hospitality to us, warmly welcoming us into her home so often when we were kids. She remained authentic and true to herself. That was my husband's reaction whenever he saw her - "not your typical granny"! He always got a kick out of her.
May God comfort you all.
Love,
Karen and John

Dear Jane, Dennis, Corey, Mia and family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and aunt. Knowing Lucy through you, Jane, she was a very bright and strong light upon this earth. Her departure leaves a void but you will continue to experience her spiritual presence from Heaven. Her intercession for you is very powerful as she joins the communion of saints. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. May you receive comfort and support from each other and from those who love you.
Love,
Marilyn Castrignano
