Rickie you will be deeply missed. You were the best friend (brother) to Mike. You two kept each other out of trouble. The years of mud bogging, late night travels, and of cause your local bars. You were always so easy going. You were a great guy! Love you forever

Rick, you were one of a kind, a wonderful, son, brother, father, friend and (out-law our joke). You will be truly missed. The times at the beach, fires in the yard and you walking Katie at all times during the night will be toughest to get through because I will be looking for you. I love you and miss you so much.... Rick was one of the nicest man on the planet th and for all you done for me Rick when I was a teenager and you fixed my vw for me at your house. I drive by your house all the time. I was so saddened to hear about your health, and so excited for you when I ran into you and you were going back to work. I was so so sad to see the paper today. I just saw you a few months back in your antique car and just smiled. Take care of my friend Lord.

Daddy Ball you will greatly be missed. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, supportive and caring father in-law. Chris and I promise little Connor will know all about his grandfather and how wonderful you were. We'll tell him how excited you were to meet him and how you carried the ultrasound picture around in your pocket. We love you and know you will be watching over us forever and always.

My deepest sympathy to all of the (my) family with Ricky's passing. Ricky you were the light of life the one that always looked up the one that everyone knew you would be there for them. You fought a battle that most couldn't, and did it with that BEAUTIFUL SMILE i will never forget. Thank you for being part of my life and know that you will always be an inspiration to others. God Bless

Rick I knew you when you were just a little boy about 4 or 5 years old. I worked with your Dad at Mclean. He was a great friend and good teacher as well as a good and decent man. I'm sorry I missed his obit, but reading yours is like reading about him. So it must be true when they that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. May you both rest in peace.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends. The Bible book of Isaiah makes the promise that, “your dead loved ones will live again… they will rise up. (Isaiah 26:19)” and this promise will soon come true by means of God’s Kingdom (Matthew 6:9, 10). For Jesus said, “Do not marvel at this…all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…to a resurrection. (John 5:28, 29)” God’s purpose is for mankind to live forever upon the earth (Psalm 37:29). All these promises will come true and what a joy it will be to see your beloved Richard once again. I hope these thoughts and words from God’s Word the Bible provide you with a measure of comfort during this time of grief. (Psalms 83:18).

So sorry Auntie Madeline , Mary, Robert, Christopher, William, and Michael . I really feel blessed , in the passing of your father, my Godfather, I was given the chance to sit with Rick 1 last time and enjoy his smile, which was I know was always worn on his face. The strength God gave him to be there for all of you was a blessing. As we watched the video of all the pictures from all the years past, I said to my self, this is a true Gift of God, Rick was able to spend time with people who might not of seen him before God called upon Him. I was not a big part of Rick's adult life , but if I needed him, which I did a couple times , ( yes , you guessed it , I did own a couple of VW's) , I could always go to Scott and he was always smiling and willing to help. If I couldn't find him there , I know he was probably on Fredrick st visiting his Mom for lunch . I know he will be greatly missed by all, and I pray for your strength during this difficult time, to stay faithful to God. He has the master plan. God Bless , Patrick

To Mary, Mike and Bill, our deepest condolences on the loss of one of the best. We met Rich and his family during our Little League years at Fairlawn and we were immediately impressed by Rich's kindness and attitude. Attributes I know, have been passed down to Michael and Bill. He will be missed by us all.
Sincerely,
Mark, Ben and Andy Allard
