You were a friend.
You were a kind hearted person.
You were a loving, gentle man.
You were my brother.

If someone needed help,
You were right there as quick as a flash of lightning.
Loved & adored by all who had the glory of being in your presence.

Never taking no for an answer, is hard for an average person,
But not to you.
You were different in your own majestic, fantastical ways.

Always proud of yourself & others
When they accomplished a goal reachable to even anyone.
You lifted spirits of the weak.

I could never compare to you.
You were a man made of nothing more than heart.
I only wish I could have known when this disaster would have risen.

It's too late for self loathing.
Someday we'll be with you,
On that big fluffy cloud in the sky.
You're patient. I know you can wait. RIP GILL .LOVE YOU BRO

Dear Gille,
If we knew it would be the last time,
We could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "we love you,"
instead of assuming that you knew it.
You will be our hearts forever.

I extend my condolences to the family and friends of Gille at this difficult time. May you be comforted by the promise of the resurrection and the end of sickness and death forever. God makes this wonderful promise to us at Revelation 21:4, which states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Please find hope in these words.

My prayers are with you and your family Gille. After all that happened it seems only fitting of having the privilege of doing sound for you a few weeks ago. It was a pleasure playing with you and getting the random phone call from you. You will be missed. God Bless you!

Gille,
So many words left unspoken. You had no way of knowing how much I respected you and how impressed I have always been with you.

As a father: so dedicated and giving of your time, your firm but gentle guidance with Kris and Alex. They are wonderful boys.

As a friend: the depth of your friendships was always apparent. Your willingness to give of your time, and talents when giving wasn't necessary or expected always surprised me.

As a husband: Jen is so fortunate to have had you in her life, even if it was for a much shorter time than it should have been. You treated her like a Queen and you were her King. Equals, partners, winning captains of Team Turcotte.

As an Uncle: You radiated encouragement, support and confidence with Tim, Collin and Jack, with many healthy splashes of humor and fun. They looked up to you and respected you as much as I did.

As a musician: Talented, hard working, dedicated, inspiring. You certainly played a part in inspiring Tim to pick up the guitar, and he's blessed our house with plucking and strumming riffs he picked up from you.

Thank you for being you. You will be sorely missed.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Dear Gille, If only you could know how many people you've left behind that love you so much and miss you already for leaving them so soon. If you could see the pain and feelings of loss in the eyes of your family; your wife, your sons, your father and your brothers, your nieces and nephews, and all of your friends. They miss you so much. You made so much of an impact in everyone's lives that it is impossible for anyone to simply move on without seeing something that reminds them of you. You were more than just a Man. You were and will always be the best Husband, the world's greatest Dad; the biggest Brother, the favorite Uncle and the best Friend. May God Bless you Gille Turcotte. You may be gone now, but you will always be larger than life.

God Bless the Turcotte Family in their time of sorrow.

I would like to express my condolences at this time. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this. A comforting thought is at Revelation 21:3,4, where it states " and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry be anymore for the former things have past away." This scripture gives us hope for the future! You can also find comfort in Acts 24:15-death does not end it all. May Jehovah God bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Dear Jen, kris, and Alex
The services are over but Gil will always be here with us and in our hearts..he loved you all so much and was such a beautiful kind person. I am having such a hard time trying to understand why he was taken from those he loved.
I so enjoyed visiting R.I. and seeing you all at one time or another. Family get togethers were always fun with all the Turcotte children around.
No words can ever comfort your loss but please know that we all are mourning and will try to help you however possible.

I learned today of Gille's passing. With a heavy heart I write. Gille and I coached a farm minor baseball team together (5) years ago (my son Eric and his son Alex). It was my first at coaching baseball. Gille had more experience given he also was coaching with his older son Kristopher's team and simply knew more about the sport than me. On the days that he couldn't be on the field with our team because he was with Kristopher's team he gave very good input and help beyond belief prior to practice. Gille simply was a go-to guy and was always there to help. He was a great guy to have in your corner.
He will certainly be missed!

To the Turcotte Family, I didn't know Gille personally, but I knew , and worked with his Father Jean in the Carpenters Union, who is also a nice and patient man. I lost my father at the age of 74, He would be 82 this year. It was a difficult time for me, but what brought me comfort is what we read in the bible about death. It say's at Isaiah 25:8 That God (Jehovah) "will swallow up death forever" and will "Wipe the tears from all faces". And also a scripture of comfort is what Jesus himself said at John 5:28 29 He will "call all those in the memorial tombs out to a resurrection right here on earth. We may grieve at the loss of a loved one, but words of comfort are available to us in the Bible, please read these verses for yourself and find comfort in them as I have. Or visit JW.org and read more.
